If your child is in Year 6, then you have until 31st October to submit your application for their secondary school place (the application process opens on 1st September). If you apply on time, you will receive your child’s school offer on National Offer Day (1st March).

Late applications won’t be processed until after 1st March, by which time many schools will be full and you are much less likely to be offered a place at your preferred school.
